the cocoa berry bowl

Hello! 

Since I came back home this week and therefore finally reunited with my trusty old nutribullet, I thought that a fresh smoothie bowl will be the perfect breakfast to go for. Here's how you can make one for yourself!


For the base
  • 1 cup of frozen berries 
  • 1 cup of baby spinach 
  • half a fresh banana 
  • 1 tbsp of cocoa powder 
  • 1 tbsp of nut butter of choice 
  • a dash of plant-based milk 
  • optional: maca powder, açaí, cinnamon, 
Toppings
  • cocoa nibs 
  • fresh fruit 
  • chia seeds 
  • coconut flakes 
  • mint leaves 
  • maple syrup for extra sweetness


I like to have it either in a bowl or in a tall glass (then it's more of a smoothie rather than a smoothie bowl I guess), but either way it's super delicious and keeps you full for hours after + it should satisfy your sweet tooth while still providing all the great nutrients :) Enjoy!
