latest favourites & life update

Hello everyone, long time no see! :)

Since I have submitted the very last final essay this morning and therefore finished the second year at uni, I thought that it's about time to come here and write a catching-up blogpost.
Apart from studying for exams, there have been tanning on the terrace,  celebrating birthdays, evening bike rides and going on cute dates, so I can honestly say that June has been a really lovely month overall and a very nice begininng of summer and holidays.

A few highlight of the last couple of weeks
Favourites-wise I have been loving this &OtherStories lip balm in ripple wash  because it has the most perfect vintage / salmonish ?? tint (I swear it looks 10 times better than it sounds haha) and makes for an amazing base for lipsticks - I tested it with the matt ones, and have never been so satisfied with the final outcome. Second sort of beauty-kind bit is Chloe Nomade perfume that I got a sample of in Sephora. I know I'm late to the party here, but I'm really considering getting a full-size bottle, since it's quite unisex yet very feminine, which is a perfect combo + it stays on forever (I mean, until you take a shower, but even then you can still feel the fragrance lingering on your skin).

Around the same time that I got the lip balm, I bought this black lacey bralette at COS, which I fell in love with the moment I noticed it on a hanger - I think it was 55-60% off, so the price was really nice as well and it came with this cotton sachet that I now use to carry the lip balm, concealer, gums, keys etc. in. You know, just so that they don't get lost in my big ass tote bag.

Another favourite thing and probably the most recent one is this GORGEOUS  floral midi dress (you can see it on pictures above) that I managed to get my hands on while roaming the local H&M. It was 50% off and I cried happy tears when I found it, since it makes for a perfect flowy summer outfit, that you wouldn't ever want to take off, it's so comfy. I also really like the soft granny vibe it has, almost vintage-like.

Speaking of grandma-like feel, the other day I got this beige weekend bag (is it grandma-like though ??), which I bought mostly for my weekend trips to uni or sleepovers at my boyfriend's. It's not too big, but easily fits all the essentials, toiletries and clothes + it does look cute, so what more can you want haha. Oh, and it's from H&M as well btw.

Random favourites include big plants inside, aglio et olio pasta (gonna make one today!), dirty pink eyeshadows used as an eyeliner and a song called New Light by John Mayer. What are yours? :)

I can honestly feel that the next couple of days will be equally nice and calm. I'm currently at my home-home, so Disney marathons and comfort food is happening a lot, but it makes me so so happy. I'm also planning something a bit different content-wise, hopefully quite soon, so stay tuned, I'll let you know when it's ready!

  1. Congrats for your final exam!
And thank you for sharing a bunch of beautiful items, memories and ideas to spend a day during summer :)
June was also amazing for me! I finally went back to France for couple days to have a little bit of those erasmus-french vibes! I met some of my friends there, danced and walked a lot <3
When it comes to music, I really like "Follow your fire" by Kodeline and I listen to it almost every day!
Can't wait to see what you prepared for us!
Hugs from different part of the city :)
