Hello guys, happy April!
For me those first days of the month have been quite productive actually (ngl, probably because of the sun outside!) - I manage to wake up early, handle the tasks on my daily to-do lists suprisingly well and, since my body is obviously in desperate need of any kind of movement, I work out way more and basically try to tune into whatever makes me feel good and healthy these days. It's all about balance though, so I'm still allowing myself to indulge in vegan banana bread, binge-watch +10 episodes Friends on Netflix and nap as much as I want. I feel like now that the line between work and rest is so fine, keeping this balance is key to staying sane and not falling into the vicious circle of either overworking or staring into the void for countless hours.
With that said, I wanted to share a short list of little things/rituals that have been sort of helping me keep the disrupted reality in check and bring me genuine joy everyday:
✓ coffee & nutritional breakfast in the morning (obsessing over oat milk cappuccino especially)
✓ putting on the comfiest, softest garments possible
✓ favourite skincare products
✓ getting inspired - my Beauty Papers issue arrived the other day and I haven't been able to put it down

I agree with you - in those particular times it's very important to still live "normally" but also keep in mind that this situation is not usual so it's better to just relax a little bit more than other days!
ReplyDeleteMy essetial rituals those days are: yoga session in the morning, delicious breakfast, afternoon offline coffee with my Mom and wine in the evening, because those French vibes are still in my mind!
