creative meetups & new cafés

I truly believe that when two creative minds meet, great things are bound to happen, so when B, my lovely friend who spent the last couple of months abroad, asked me to help her with a little project she had in mind and have a brainstorm once she gets back home, I was more than happy to say yes. Litte time has passed and before we knew it, we found ourselves equipped with notebooks, heads full of ideas and very nice vegan lunch and coffee to keep us focused, all set and super excited to work together and do all the catching-up.

The spot we chose for our little encounter was Lastryko, a quaint café in the centre of the city and I swear, it’s such a nice place to visit when you want to focus and have some productive time while sipping on great coffee - the interior is like no other and their oat cappuccino is to die for (and from what I’ve heard, so are their signature concrete cheesecakes). Oh, and I’m obsessed with those chunky terrazzo coasters you can spot on pictures above. Way too obsessed.

Anyway, there we were, having a productive afternoon with a good amount of laughs, sharing our thoughts and ideas, plans and dreams and honestly, I think that was exactly what we both needed. I can’t stress how important it is to make an effort to find time to focus on what makes you genuinely happy and restore balance between busy life on the go and taking pleasure in the simplest things, even if it's just coffee with a friend. It's healthy for the soul and fills your heart with joy, inspiration and irresistible desire to work towards achieving goals.   

Again, I know it was quite a short post but that's the kind of content I'm gravitating towards these days, I really hope you don't mind! Yesterday was quite busy because I was out of town , so today will be all about relaxing at home, drinking coffee and getting a lot of inspiration for future posts! x
