You have probably noticed that couple of my latest posts haven't been the most cheerful, but not feeling your best sometimes is also a part of life so I still wanted to share some stories and my thoughts on here. Last week I wrote a bit about what inspired me in January. I know the beginning of the year can be a handful for many of us and no matter how sappy that sounds, noticing everyday reasons of genuine happiness and letting yourself feel really is relieving. I know there are some circumstances that cannot be overcome that easily, I really do, but that's exactly when taking care of yourself and being gentle is the most important. It may not be enough, but it's a good start.
Things that made me feel better
Homemade pizza. Journaling. Getting new earrings. Investing in skincare. Detox tea. Sleeping. Conversation with a friend. Creating more. Crying. Taking care of plants. Going to Ikea.
I encourage you to make a similar list and include your personal remedies. It can come in handy more times than you think:)
