tricity | a weekend away

Visiting seaside in September is probably one of my beloved late summer experiences. The beaches are empty, you don't sweat buckets because heatwaves are over for the most part and it's all just very calm and soothing.

Last week we headed to Tricity for a couple of days, and even though we did planned to go there this summer, booking the trip and making an actual decision about all the details was pretty impulsive in the end. We left on Wednesday and stayed there till Sunday, and these days were full of wandering around, exploring the city, deep breaths on the beach, good food and playing games as befits modern grandparents that we are:)

I also want to recommend you one little place in Gdynia - flow café. I only managed to grab take away coffee on our last day, but a) it was so so good b) their interior is absolutely stunning - so simple and minimal with terrazzo touches c) the whole vibe and branding of this place is something else, both calming and kind of ready to keep up with you when you're on the go?? One way or another - pay them a visit!

As you can see I have recently started to mute the exposure of my pictures which is totally intentional and feels sort of natural given the fact that it's autumn around the corner. I really like these edits during this time of the year as they fit the season pretty well - kind of moody, a little nostalgic etc. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!!
