I feel like with every year go by, my "school" bag is less and less "school" related. When I was younger I would carry 5+ notebooks, each for a different subject, a pencil case full of highlighters and other accessories that were supposed to come in handy everyday but never actually did and even though back then I thought I'm a master of packing and prepared for every possible scenario, now that I look at it... it might have been just a little bit too much.
Now that I graduated from one university and am starting my second year at another this October (aaand it's still half online / half offline), I once again appreciated the practicality of keeping things as simple as possible. A notebook and a laptop is now pretty much all I need (and sometimes even the notebook is dispensable) uni-wise, but there are obviously other things tangled somewhere at the bottom of the bag... earphones, a wallet with a bunch of expired parking tickets and receipts inside, mini version of perfume, gums, keys, lip balm...
