little fall things

Hellooo everyone, long time no see! I won’t lie, the beginning of October was pretty hectic, but in the best way possible. I went back to uni (you can watch my desk essentials video here), spent the weekend out of my hometown and basically have been running errands non stop. Taking advantage of my day off, I decided to come back here and talk a bit about my favourite little (probably somewhat cheesy) bits, that - despite being busier than ever - I managed to fall in love with during my absence on the blog.

The chunky coat
I bought this super overoverovevsize coat this weekend - I really needed a quality piece of outerwear for this time of the year that would be super comfy, warm and soft. In September I decided not to buy clothes for a whole month because I try to really get out of the habit of buying clothes so often (succeeded!) but when I saw this coat, tried it on and reminded myself that it’s something that I’m truly missing in my wardrobe, I knew it’s only right to invest my money in it. I picked the biggest size they had in store so it’s huge, but that’s what I love about it. It almost feels as if you're wearing a blanket.

Oat cappuccino
A weekend out at uni led me to drinking even more coffee than usual, and although 99% of the time I drink plain black coffee, cappuccinos with oat milk from a little cafe by our campus were a lovely and definitely much anticipated part of everyday.

Sandalwood candle
I mentioned this candle in the essentials video linked above, but since I love it so much I decided to mention it on the blog as well. It’s super subtle and makes for a perfect autumnal addition to my room. For any of you wondering, I got it from txmaxx earlier this month!

Emily in Paris
Ahh okay, I know this series has as many lovers as haters and I know the plot is super cliche and stereotypical and the outfit choices are well… questionable to say the least, but at the same time I couldn’t help but binge it and think about it for days on end. It has such an uplifting vibe and is such a heartwarming thing to watch without having to focus or overanalyse anything in it. Also Lucas Bravo (aka Gabriel) stole my heart the moment he appeared on screen and I can’t pretend he wasn’t one of the main reasons I loved Emily in Paris so so much.

French language
My love for everything Paris- and French language-related has always been strong (if you’re here since the very beginning you probably know it already haha) but it escalated to a whole new level after watching the series mentioned above. Believe it or not, I even got into this weird habit of turning on french channels on tv and have them as a background noise when I work or study because I feel like it really helps you adopt the proper accent. And Paris… just ask my boyfriend how many times during the last two weeks I mentioned that it would be an absolute dream come true to live there. Who knows, maybe one day, right?

And that’s it guys, I hope you enjoyed reading this post as much as I enjoyed writing it. The week ahead is going to be super busy again, but I really don't mind it. Anyone else has been feeling quite productive lately or is it just me :) ? Let me know and I'll see you in a bit!
