There is something about those weekend-long trips that makes my heart jump with excitement, and this time wasn't an exception - last week we travelled all the way to Cracow, to celebrate Patrick’s birthday along the way with our anniversary - the getaway was something I think we both needed very much and a perfect little break from fast uni life, so naturally the anticipation was real. We had the nicest apartment nearby the city centre (hence why we decided to stay there for two nights instead of one, how we’d planned before) and even though it was raining awfully most of the time, we manged to stay cosy and content, hiding away from the cold in tranquil cafés and drinking hot beverages one after another.
